     Acadia Skin Care is a brand of skin care products sold to treat problematic skin such as psoriasis and eczema. This line of care product is usually sold online and through other advertising.

     Acadia Skin Care uses the ingredient zinc pyrithione in a topical cream to treat psoriasis. In 1990, promoting this ingredient for use in the treatment of psoriasis was banned by the American FDA. This ingredient is not effective.

     This line of skin care products has been proven not to work. The advertising used to sell it feeds on the desperation of people dealing with a serious skin disease.

     If you have psoriasis or eczema, Acadia Skin Care products should be avoided.
