Proactive Skin Care
In order to keep your skin in
its best condition, you'll want to practice proactive skin care.
This involves looking after your skin everyday so that problems don't
occur in the first place.
Two keys to proactive skin care
are to stay out of the sun and stay well hydrated. Sun damage leads
to spots and wrinkles,
not to mention skin cancer. If you wear sunscreen each day and cover
up when possible, your skin will look younger for longer. Drinking lots
of water will help to keep you hydrated, in better health and will plump
up your skin to even out wrinkles. The healthier you are the
better your skin will look.
Another important step in proactive
skin care is to keep your skin clean. Dirty skin is more prone to
breakouts and a dull complexion. Wash your face twice a day with a gentle
cleanser with warm, not hot water. Use a moisturizer
if needed.
