Skin Care Products
In order to buy the right skin
care products for you, you need to know what type of skin you
have. There are a few main skin types - normal, dry,
oily, sensitive
and combination, and products are sold to deal with each.
Most people have normal skin. This type
of skin has no real, persistent problems. Dry
skin feels tight and is often flaky and dull looking. Oily
skin is usually shiny with large pores and is prone to breakouts.
Combination skin exhibits symptoms of each skin type.
Sensitive skin often
breaks out in rashes or other skin irritations when you use skin care
products.
If you have normal skin you can
use almost any type of skin care product. If you have dry
skin, you'll want to look for moisturizing products. If you have
oily skin, you'll want to use skin care products that
are light, water-based and oil-free. If you have sensitive skin,
you'll want to use products that contain few, if any, perfumes or dyes.
There are products made for combination skin as well.
Not all skin care products will work
for everyone, no matter what skin type they say they are designed for.
Everyone is different and you may have to try several skin care
products before you find one that you like.
